Job Description:
To prepare our students for the rigorous demands of an academic future, STEP has adopted a holistic approach to learning by placing special emphasis on hands-on activities with real-life implications. The Saturday Learning Academy parallels and reinforces coursework found in the conventional academic setting. Students spend the academic year learning about computers, math, science, and language arts, going on field trips, preparing for ACT/SAT, and participating in specially designed workshops and programs. The Academy will meet on Saturdays between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm on the Syracuse University campus. Class sessions will range from 60-75 minutes in length. Tutorial sessions will occur via Zoom during the week, and the sessions will range 60 minutes in length.
