Science of Reading Information Beavercreek City Schools is committed to meeting the requirements of the State of Ohio as outlined in Ohio Revised Code 3313.6028 requiring districts to use the science of reading for literacy instruction. "Science of Reading" is defined in the law as an interdisciplinary body of scientific evidence that informs how students learn to read and write proficiently. Ohio's Introduction to SOR Course Pathways The starting salary from the approved teacher salary schedule ranges from:
Bachelor's Degree:
$47,832 to $72,623; based on prior teacher verification, experience, and training
Master's Degree:
