We are looking for an educator who is passionate about the natural world and dedicated to fostering a "hands-on, minds-on" learning environment. The successful candidate will guide students through the inquiry process, helping them develop critical thinking skills through lab exploration and scientific reasoning.

Curriculum Delivery:

Teach Earth Science, Life Science, or Physical Science (depending on grade level assignment) aligned with the Oklahoma Academic Standards for Science (OAS-S).

Lab Leadership:

Design and facilitate regular laboratory experiments and demonstrations that emphasize safety and the scientific method.

STEM Integration:

Incorporate technology and engineering principles into daily lessons to prepare students for 21st-century challenges.

Data-Driven Instruction:

Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student growth and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.

Collaboration:

Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to align curriculum horizontally and vertically within the district

Required Qualifications Certification:

Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate in Middle Level Science or Secondary Science (Grades 6-8).

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
