Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Computer Teacher to inspire students and foster a love for technology and digital literacy. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, develop curriculum materials, and utilize innovative learning technologies to enhance classroom experiences. Your expertise will support students' academic growth in computer science, digital skills, and related subjects, ensuring they gain practical knowledge applicable in today's tech-driven world. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with educational standards and incorporate current learning technology tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS). Deliver engaging lessons on computer fundamentals, programming, digital literacy, and other related topics tailored to diverse student needs. Develop instructional materials that support special education requirements and accommodate students with disabilities. Manage classroom activities effectively to foster a positive learning environment focused on behavior management and student engagement. Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and regular evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support growth. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary approaches such as literacy education, math, and library services into the computer curriculum. Support students' social-emotional development by working with children on communication skills and encouraging responsible technology use. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student attendance, assessments, and progress reports. Experience Prior classroom experience teaching computer science or related subjects in a school setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for various age groups and learning styles. Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education environments is a strong plus. Familiarity with LMS platforms and other learning technology tools used for online instruction and resource management. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and effective classroom management techniques. Private school experience or Montessori background is advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills capable of engaging students, parents, and colleagues effectively while fostering a collaborative learning environment.
