Job Description
Description Candidates must be able to deliver instruction both in person at our King of Prussia, PA location and virtually through online learning platforms. The American College of Financial Services (The College) seeks applicants to fill the position of Adjunct Instructor for the College's Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) program. The Adjunct Instructor will teach assigned MSFP courses onsite at the College's King of Prussia, PA campus as well as online, applying their financial planning practitioner skills and expertise towards enabling students' achievement of the program's goals and learning outcomes. The College is a leader in financial planning education, and the applicant must have a strong interest in maintaining the quality and relevance of the MSFP program, which is delivered through a combination of onsite and online instruction. American College faculty can blend academic rigor with applied financial planning practice in developing sophisticated evidence-based planning techniques. The Adjunct Instructor must be able to effectively reflect the values of The College to the industry, the public, and accreditation agency representatives. Key subject areas for the Adjunct Instructor will align with the MSFP curriculum and, where applicable, the CFP® Board curriculum. This position requires the Adjunct Instructor to teach onsite at the College's King of Prussia, PA campus, with assigned courses meeting once per week over an 8- to 10-week term, as well as to teach courses online. The Adjunct Instructor position is part of a pool of MSFP faculty and may be assigned to teach one or more courses per term, as needed. The Adjunct Instructor reports to the MSFP Program Director.
