QUALIFICATIONS
1) Valid teacher certification; 2) Teaching experience; 3) Knowledgeable in current educational trends; 4) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Committee may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO
High School Principal and/or designee.
JOB GOAL
Provide on-going supervision, instruction and support to students attending the Extended Day Program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide content area instruction as neededProvide general academic support and PBGR recovery supportPromote student achievement by supporting and encouraging all studentsMonitor students attending Extended Day as needed including computer usage Administer and Grade Edgenuity assignments and common tasks as needed Assist in setting weekly student goals Serve as a liaison between students, classroom teachers, guidance counselors, coaches, athletic director/activity coordinator and administration as neededPerforms such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as the Principal and/or Assistant Principal may from time to time assign.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Approximately 6-8 hours per week for 36 weeks of the school year.
