Job Description

Duties:
The Adjunct EMS Instructor is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) courses, including classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical education settings. The instructor prepares and delivers course content, evaluates student performance, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with program, institutional, state, and national accreditation standards. The Adjunct EMS Instructor promotes student success by fostering a professional learning environment, mentoring students, and supporting the development of knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary for entry-level EMS practice. Additional responsibilities may include participation in curriculum development, program assessment, and departmental meetings as assigned.
