Midland, TX Job Details Part-time $35 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Master's degree Computer skills Full Job Description Job Summary The Lecture/Lab Instructor teaches kinesiology lecture and laboratory courses, develops instructional and assessment materials, and supports student learning through effective classroom and laboratory instruction. Essential Functions Communicate course objectives, learning outcomes, expectations, and policies to students through the course syllabus and other instructional materials. Provide effective instruction in assigned kinesiology courses and support student success through appropriate teaching and assessment. Collaborate with the Kinesiology Chair on curriculum, assessment, scheduling, student concerns, and other departmental initiatives to support student success and program effectiveness. Ensure safety requirements are followed in the classroom and laboratory. Respond to student questions and concerns during class, office hours, and through timely electronic communication Use the Learning Management System (LMS) appropriately to support instruction, student learning, and course communication. Maintain academic records in accordance with college policies, accreditation requirements, and applicable laws. Stay current with developments, trends, and best practices in the field of kinesiology. Participate in student learning outcomes assessment and program evaluation activities as required by the department and the College. Recommend textbooks and instructional materials that support kinesiology courses.
