  • After School classes and Camp Position Overview Looking for College students or High School seniors to join us for an exciting opportunity to teach K-9 students fundamentals of computer science and programming.
The instructor is responsible for delivering iCode curriculum while creating a fun learning experience for the students. This is a great job opportunity for a college student to gain experience and develop soft skills and leadership skills. Classroom management and curriculum training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Teach and educate students according to curriculum and guidelines provided by iCode. Knowledge of Scratch, Python, Java , HTML, Javascript, CSS would be great. Manage a fun and orderly classroom at all times. Provide feedback about class material and student dynamics in weekly status reports. Provide weekly communication and updates to parents. Qualifications Have a positive attitude, outgoing personality and possess excellent people skills. Demonstrate hobbies such as robotics, gaming, coding, or digital arts Ability to work with students ranging from K-9 Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Experience in computing languages such as Scratch, HTML or Python Experience in tutoring, working with students in a camp setting a plus
