Position Information Position Title Instructor Health Sciences Requisition Number F00519P Job Description This Instructor position in Health Sciences will carry the primary responsibilities of teaching face-to-face Health Science labs as well as face-to-face courses. The Health Sciences Lab Instructors will teach departmental anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology labs, reinforcing course concepts through instruction and practical laboratory applications.
Additional responsibilities include:
record attendance, assess students' knowledge of key concepts, assist with laboratory organization and preparation of learning activities, and provide constructive feedback to the department and departmental lab manager.
NOTE:
Instructor positions are temporary appointments renewable annually by separate contract at the sole discretion of the university. Job Duties Required Qualifications The minimum required qualification is a master's degree in a health profession field or the ability to complete one within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include:
Experience teaching in a health profession field Experience with Weber State's Health Sciences Department A doctorate degree in a health profession related field Experience with instrumentation, cadavers, biological specimens and lab-specific technology A successful candidate will be willing to Background Check?
