High School Science Teacher

High School Science Teacher (Grades 9-12) Covington, VA | Boys Home of Virginia Boys Home of Virginia is seeking a passionate and engaging High School Science Teacher to join our mission-driven residential school community. Our educators play a vital role in mentoring young men while delivering strong academics that build confidence, character, and future success.

What You'll Do:

Teach inquiry-based science through hands-on labs and real-world application Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific curiosity Create a structured, supportive classroom environment Provide individualized support to help students grow academically and personally

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Science or related field Experience teaching or working with adolescents Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred:

$35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
