Job Description About the EduCare Foundation EduCare Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) educational organization providing high-quality, heart-centered student success and after-school enrichment programs for youth. Our mission at EduCare Foundation is to develop and manage high-quality expanded learning programs. Our programs provide participants with a safe and nurturing environment that fosters engaging learning through various senses to ensure student success.
Purpose:
Our after-school educational program seeks talented, experienced staff in all subject areas for students between grades 9th and 12th. We help both struggling and gifted students reach their full potential by supplementing the instruction they receive in class and guiding them toward study practices and aides that can help them excel.

2 Seeking candidates with an interest in working with Youth in grade levels 9th-12th, In a wide variety of High school subjects Including but not limited to leadership, tutoring, enrichment, and physical activities. Available Mon - Fri.
Key Responsibilities:
Encourage students to get out of their comfort zone Work and direct small groups of students Organizational skills with paperwork Provide a safe environment for students Interact with students, parents, and administration Great communication skills with both students and staff members Must be punctual Must be flexible in covering other programs or events when needed Must follow protocols and procedures presented to them at staff meetings
Skills/Qualifications:
• Demonstrate knowledge and enjoyment in the program Be able to lead and plan lessons for students Communicate with students to ensure understanding and participation Work comfortably with people from diverse backgrounds Approachable Be able to accommodate student needs Demonstrate enthusiasm and engagement Requirements & Desired Skills• Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a high school diploma or GED and at minimum one of the following: An Associate Degree from a recognized college or university; or Completed 12-semester units from a recognized college or university; 1-year experience working in youth-centered programs and/or community-based organizations 1-year experience teaching, leading, and/or supporting students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
