We teach traditional Tang Soo Do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with a strong emphasis on discipline, leadership, confidence, character development, and long-term student success. Position Overview The Lead Martial Arts Instructor is responsible for teaching classes, supporting student development, assisting with studio operations, and helping maintain a positive, structured, and professional training environment. Martial arts experience is preferred but not required for exceptional candidates with strong leadership skills, athletic ability, professionalism, and a desire to learn. Responsibilities Lead and assist classes for children, teens, and adults in both Karate & BJJ Deliver curriculum according to academy standards Ensure student safety, engagement, and progress Build positive relationships with students and families Support student retention and enrollment efforts Assist with belt testing, events, camps, seminars, and tournaments Help maintain facility cleanliness and professionalism Follow academy systems and procedures Contribute to a positive team culture Qualifications Strong communication and leadership skills Professional appearance and demeanor Drivers license & reliable transportation Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends Physically capable of participating in martial arts instruction Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications Martial arts experience Coaching, teaching, or youth leadership experience Customer service or sales experience First Aid and CPR certification

$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
