Company Information Kazio Acrobatics, Gymnastics, and Fitness is a gym in Pleasanton, California! Kazio builds a lifelong love of movement in our students, one handstand at a time. Ideal candidate If you are looking for a fun, rewarding, and active career, come be a gymnastics teacher! Teach children of all ages -- from 3-12 -- motor skills such as jumping and running to gymnastic fundamentals such as forward rolls, cartwheels, pullovers, and roundoffs. We emphasize a whole-child growth experience and believe in teaching life lessons through gymnastics and related movements. Qualifications Ability to work with kids ages 2-16yr Minimum of high school degree required (Las Positas students are a great fit here!) Must be able to work afternoons (roughly 2:30pm-7pm) and Saturdays (roughly 10am-3pm) Ability to demonstrate, correct, and coach recreational gymnastics. We prefer prior experience in gymnastics, parkour, freerunning, tumbling, cheer, or dance as a coach or athlete. Willingness to learn and lead active games with kids Be customer service oriented Roles Coach beginner gymnastics classes and preschool gymnastics classes Communicate with customers, including parents, about classes Join staff in creating bi-weekly themes surrounding gymnastics skills Join the staff in cleaning and tidying around the gym Wages and hours Our training wage is $21/hour and base wage starts at $24/hour. We are looking for someone to join us at full-time number of hours and stay long-term to make this your career! In addition, we offer the following benefits: Fixed flexible schedule: Your schedule is the same week-to-week. No weekly changes! Heath & dental benefits after 30 days of employment Paid sick time off Paid vacation Private lessons that pay $50-$80/hour. Requests for privates come through the gym and are assigned to coaches. Snacks at the gym. Nobody likes a hungry coach! We also allow use of the gym to train on your own skills, subject to scheduling. You get to keep up your gymnastics skills too by teaching them to others and getting some practice in yourself (if you want)!
