The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics and experience working with students of various ages and skill levels. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating and training young athletes, fostering their skills while promoting safety and enjoyment within the sport. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging gymnastics lesson plans tailored to the skill levels of students. Instruct students in various gymnastics techniques, ensuring proper form and safety practices. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Create a positive and encouraging environment that motivates students to achieve their personal best. Organize and lead warm-up exercises, conditioning routines, and cool-down sessions. Ensure all equipment is safe, well-maintained, and used correctly during training sessions. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns. Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills. Skills Strong background in gymnastics or related sports coaching experience. Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Ability to educate students on proper techniques while ensuring their safety at all times. Skills in cheerleading or other gym-related activities are a plus. Familiarity with health club environments and maintaining fitness standards is beneficial. Ability to climb, demonstrate techniques, and actively participate in training sessions. Experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or similar disciplines, is highly valued.
