Wednesdays, 8:00-9:30 AM | $75 per class Round 1: September 2-October 14
Grades:
6-8 Curriculum, lesson plans, training, and materials provided Athena Coding is a premier enrichment education company seeking an instructor to teach a weekly class for students in grades 6-8 on Wednesday mornings from 8:00-9:30 AM . This first session runs September 2 through October 14 , and instructors are paid $75 per class . All curriculum and materials needed to teach the class will be provided in advance. You'll also receive training before beginning and have access to both in-person and remote support throughout the program. Athena Coding offers engaging enrichment programs in areas including Dungeons & Dragons, coding, art, science, and chess . Learn more about us at athenacoding.com. Responsibilities Manage a classroom of approximately 5-20 students while ensuring they are safe, engaged, and having fun Facilitate Athena Coding's provided lessons and activities Create a positive and supportive classroom environment Help students participate, collaborate, and stay engaged throughout class We're looking for someone with: An upbeat, empathetic, and energetic personality A passion for working with children and young people At least a high school diploma Experience working with children strongly preferred Some experience or interest in Dungeons & Dragons, art, coding/programming, science, chess, or related enrichment activities Reliable availability for the full Wednesday, September 2-October 14, 8:00-9:30 AM session Athena Coding is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
