Pilates & Or is seeking an exceptional Studio Manager to lead our Santa Barbara studio. This is a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing contemporary Pilates brands, founded by former Royal Ballet Soloist Or Kahlon . We are looking for a certified Pilates instructor who is equally passionate about teaching, leadership, and business operations. Heated mat, reformer, and barre classes Responsibilities Teach Pilates classes as a regular part of the weekly schedule Oversee the day-to-day operations of the studio Deliver an exceptional member and guest experience Build relationships with clients and foster a welcoming community Recruit, onboard, schedule, and support instructors Coordinate studio staffing, class schedules, and instructor coverage for substitutions Lead membership sales, client retention, and local marketing initiatives Monitor studio performance and key business metrics Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation Collaborate closely with the founders to help grow the Santa Barbara location Opportunities to film classes for

As Pilates & Or continues to expand globally, Studio Managers will have the opportunity to grow beyond studio operations. Qualified educators may lead teacher trainings, workshops, mentorships, and educational events both in-studio, online, and at partner studios around the world. With the launch of our Comprehensive Teacher Training Program, there will also be opportunities to mentor and oversee student cohorts. These optional educational roles offer additional compensation and a unique pathway for career advancement within the Pilates & Or education team. Qualifications Certified Pilates instructor (Reformer, Mat or both) Previous teaching experience in a group fitness or boutique studio environment Previous management, leadership, or business operations experience is highly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing a business Professional, energetic, and community-focused Comfortable using scheduling and CRM software Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends This role is envisioned as a full time role, 40 hours per week, comprising of teaching, managing, and broader company project initiatives. However, we will also consider part time applicants. Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, including teaching pay, management compensation, and performance-based incentives.
