Colorado Krav Maga is hiring a part-time Youth Instructor for our Young Warriors Program. We teach real self-defense to kids ages 3-15 — not choreography, not belt-factory busywork. Our students learn to be physically strong, mentally awake, and emotionally safe. This is not a babysitting job. You'll run the mat, lead the creed, teach real technique, and be the adult a kid remembers 20 years from now. What You'll Do Lead youth Krav Maga classes for Tiny Warriors (3-6), Little Warriors (7-9), and Young & Teen Warriors (10-15) Teach age-appropriate strikes, kicks, self-defense, anti-bullying, and stranger-safety curriculum Run monthly stripe testing and belt progression evaluations Build real relationships with parents — greet them by name, give honest feedback on their kid's progress Manage behavior using our
Redirection Behavior Model:
correct short, correct direct, then build them back up Keep the training floor safe, clean, and set up before every class Support belt tests, seminars, and studio events Who We're Looking For You genuinely like kids and can hold a room of 20 of them without yelling Experience coaching, teaching, camp counseling, or working with children ages 3-12 High energy, loud voice, high standards — kids rise to the level you set Dependable. Classes don't reschedule because you're running late. Coachable. You'll be trained on our curriculum and expected to keep improving. Martial arts background is a plus, not a requirement — we certify our instructors in-house Requirements 18 years or older Available weekday afternoons/evenings (approx. 3:00-6:00 PM) and occasional Saturdays Able to be physically active for the length of a class — demonstrating, holding pads, moving with students Must pass a background check Reliable transportation to our Fort Collins location What You Get $25-$45/hour depending on experience and certification level, with raises tied to certification progression Free unlimited training at Colorado Krav Maga — adult classes included Paid in-house instructor certification and ongoing development A team that actually trains together and takes the work seriously A schedule that works around school or a second jobPay:
