Responsibilities The key areas of responsibility include:
  • Run the operations of the center
  • Help train staff of tutors
  • Speak with prospective parents to explain/promote the program
  • Assess new students, create student workbooks
  • Creation of individualized learning plans
  • Teach children, using Mathnasium methods and processes
  • Provide ongoing communication with parents Training for any Mathnasium-specific teaching will be given for this fun and rewarding position. Qualifications This individual will possess the following qualifications and requirements:
  • Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree or working towards Bachelor's degree; preferably in Business or Math-related subjects
  • Exceptional leadership, management, and operations experience
  • Passion for working with kids, and experience working both with kids and communicating effectively with parents
  • Excellent communication skills, effective time management skills, and driven and detail-oriented
  • Strong delegating and performance management skills
  • Superb organizational skills, able to multi-task effective and work towards deadlines
  • Possess exemplary character and have a strong leadership presence
  • A passion for math is ideal, and strong math skills are essential. Proficient through SAT 1 level Math (Algebra 1, High School Geometry, and beginning Algebra 2)
  • paid training will be provided.
Must pass a background check. Previous Mathnasium experience is desirable, but not necessary. We are looking for the very best talent for a leadership path in our dynamic and growing organization. Current University students will be considered. The hours are flexible and we can usually work around school or other job schedules. Additional Information Scheduling is flexible, but you'd need to be available to work during times when the center is open for instruction (Monday
  • Thursday 1-8pm & Saturday 10am-2pm) Looking for someone who is available to work 25-30 hours per week. Starting pay rate is $20
