Summer Training Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Chess Coach to inspire and develop players of all ages and skill levels in Miami, Florida. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to foster strategic thinking, problem-solving, and sportsmanship through engaging chess instruction. As a Chess Coach, you will create a positive learning environment that motivates students to improve their game while building confidence and critical thinking skills. Duties Plan and deliver engaging chess lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Develop customized training programs that focus on strategic concepts, tactics, endgames, and opening principles Organize and supervise chess tournaments, competitions, and club activities to encourage friendly competition and community involvement Provide individual tutoring sessions to help students improve specific skills or prepare for competitions Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and focused learning environment Communicate progress regularly with students, parents, and guardians to support ongoing development Promote the benefits of chess as an educational tool for enhancing concentration, planning, and decision-making Requirements Proven experience in teaching or tutoring chess or similar strategic games Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students of various ages Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex concepts in an accessible manner Experience working with children, teens, or adult learners in educational settings Knowledge of tournament rules, scoring systems, and competitive formats in chess Ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning atmosphere Prior experience in classroom management or childcare is highly desirable Join us as a Chess Coach and make a meaningful impact by nurturing strategic minds while creating an inspiring environment for growth.
