Taekwondo Instructor

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Taekwondo Instructor, where you will inspire and empower students of all ages through the art of Taekwondo. Duties Lead structured Taekwondo classes for children and adults, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed Develop customized training plans to meet individual student goals and skill levels Demonstrate martial arts techniques such as kicks, punches, blocks, sparring, and forms (poomsae) Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement Maintain a safe environment by enforcing behavior management strategies and safety guidelines Organize and supervise belt testing sessions, competitions, or demonstrations to showcase student achievements Collaborate with other sports coaches or instructors to integrate martial arts into broader physical education programs Engage with parents or guardians to communicate student progress and address any concerns Qualifications Proven experience in Taekwondo or other martial arts such as Karate or Judo, with certification preferred Background in sports coaching, teaching physical education, or working with children in a sports or health club setting Lifeguard experience or familiarity with swimming is a plus for multi-sport program involvement Strong skills in behavior management and creating an inclusive, motivating environment for students of all ages Knowledge of additional activities like basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or gymnastics is advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students effectively Prior experience in childcare or working with youth populations is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for martial arts meets your talent for teaching!
