Job Description

Are you passionate about working with young children and making a difference through sports? Do you have high energy, patience, and love teaching movement and teamwork? If so, we want you to join our Playball coaching team!
About Playball:
Playball is an internationally recognized sports and movement program that introduces young children to the fundamentals of sports in a fun, engaging, and structured environment. Through our curriculum, kids build confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a love for active play!
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Playball Coach to lead classes in Cumming, GA area for children. Using Playball's structured lesson plans and creative play-based games, you will help kids develop motor skills, improve coordination, and build confidence while having a blast!
Position Details:
Hours:
4 -10 hours per week (Flexible, based on class schedules)
Schedule:
Weekday mornings and/or afternoons with possible weekend opportunities. You will have the same schedule weekly.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Looking for someone to come to our staff and stay for more than a year. Minimum of 18 month commitment required.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead fun, structured sports classes for children ages 2-8 . Teach fundamentals of soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, and more through Playball's curriculum. Create a positive, energetic, and inclusive learning environment . Encourage teamwork, participation, and skill-building through engaging play-based activities. Manage small groups of children while ensuring their safety and enjoyment . Communicate positively with parents, schools, and fellow coaches . Set up and clean up equipment before and after classes.
Requirements:
Experience working with children (sports coaching, teaching, childcare, or similar roles preferred). Must be available 5-10 hours per week (flexible scheduling available). Must pass a background check. Reliable transportation to class locations. Willingness to learn and follow Playball's structured curriculum. Minimum of 18 month commitment required.
