Sports Teaching Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Instructor to join our team. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in various gymnastics techniques and skills. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a fun and safe environment.
Duties:
  • Plan and conduct gymnastics classes for students of all ages and skill levels
  • Teach proper techniques for gymnastics skills such as tumbling, balance beam, vault, and bars
  • Create lesson plans that are engaging, challenging, and age-appropriate
  • Provide individualized instruction to students based on their abilities and goals
  • Ensure the safety of all students by enforcing proper spotting techniques and equipment usage
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Maintain a clean and organized gymnasium environment
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Gymnastics Instructor or similar role
  • Lifeguard certification is preferred
  • Sports coaching or childcare experience is a plus
  • Ability to climb, lift, and move equipment as needed
  • Strong communication skills to effectively educate and interact with students
  • Experience working with students of various ages and skill levels
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques in a classroom setting
  • Ability to swim is preferred but not required
