Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a creative and motivated Part-Time Aftercare Enrichment Teacher to lead engaging after-school programming for children. This role goes beyond supervision — you'll design and deliver fun, educational enrichment activities that spark curiosity and build skills in a supportive aftercare setting. Responsibilities Plan and implement enrichment activities (arts & crafts, STEM, reading, games, movement, etc.) Supervise children and ensure a safe, structured environment from 2:00-6:00 PM Assist children with homework as needed Facilitate group activities that promote social and emotional development Communicate progress and updates with parents at pick-up Collaborate with daycare staff and director to align programming with center goals Requirements Early Child Education degree/CDA preferred, or related field preferred Experience working with school-age children in an aftercare, classroom, or camp setting Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging activity plans Ability to pass a background check CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills What We Offer $16-$18/hour based on experience Consistent Monday-Friday afternoon schedule Opportunity to make a real impact in children's daily lives Supportive team and director leadership
