Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Horseback Riding Instructor and inspire confidence, skill, and a love for equestrian activities in riders of all ages and experience levels. In this energetic role, you will lead engaging riding lessons, ensure safety protocols are strictly followed, and foster a positive environment where students can thrive. Your expertise will help develop riders' abilities while promoting responsible horsemanship and enjoyment of the outdoors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for horses with teaching and coaching skills in a dynamic setting. Duties Design and deliver engaging horseback riding lessons tailored to individual skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders Ensure all safety procedures are rigorously followed during lessons, including proper handling of horses and equipment Manage behavior and maintain discipline among students to create a safe, respectful learning environment Conduct routine inspections of riding gear, tack, and riding areas to uphold safety standards Provide guidance on horse care, grooming, and stable management to enhance rider knowledge and responsibility Support students' physical development through teaching proper riding posture, balance, and coordination techniques Foster a fun, motivating atmosphere that encourages teamwork, confidence-building, and a passion for equestrian sports Experience Prior experience in horseback riding instruction or coaching is highly preferred Background in sports coaching or physical education enhances your ability to teach movement skills effectively Demonstrated experience working with children or youth in educational or recreational settings Knowledge of behavior management techniques to handle diverse student needs with patience and professionalism Additional skills such as lifeguard experience, swimming, martial arts (Karate, Judo), cheerleading, climbing, or other sports are a plus for engaging diverse learners Familiarity with health club or gym environments can be beneficial for understanding fitness principles related to riding skills Proven ability to teach physical activities safely while fostering motivation and enjoyment Join us to make a meaningful impact by sharing your passion for horses while helping others develop their riding abilities! $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
