Summer 2027 Camp Ropes Course Instructor Beth Tfiloh Camps Reisterstown, MD Job Details Temporary | Contract 4 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Collaboration Outdoor work experience Team development Training delivery Full Job Description We're looking for energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Ropes Course Instructors to lead safe and engaging activities on our outdoor ropes course, including high and low elements, zip lines, and team-building initiatives. Instructors create a fun, supportive environment that builds confidence, teamwork, and resilience in participants of all ages. No prior ropes course experience required — certification training is provided, and all instructors must successfully pass our full certification program.
Please Note:
This position is seasonal employment full-time from Monday June 14th- Friday, August 13th. Additional required ropes course certification training dates will be discussed during the interview process. Job Duties Facilitate ropes course activities, including high and low elements, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for all participants. Conduct thorough safety inspections and checks of equipment, ropes, and course structures before each session. Provide instruction and demonstrations on proper safety protocols and equipment use. Supervise participants throughout activities, offering encouragement, guidance, and support as needed. Lead team-building exercises and debriefs to encourage reflection and personal growth. Assist in the maintenance, setup, and breakdown of ropes course elements and equipment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth, cohesive program delivery. Experience Previous experience facilitating or instructing on a ropes course or similar outdoor adventure activities is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with safety protocols, equipment inspection, and participant management in an outdoor setting is beneficial. Experience leading group activities, especially in team-building or personal development settings, is a plus.

All hired Ropes Course Instructors will undergo our comprehensive ropes course training to ensure consistency in safety and facilitation standards.
