Job Description
The Teaching Professional will work closely with the General Manager to promote and conduct golf instruction and player development programs to meet the needs/demands for all golfer segments in the local marketplace.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
PGA or LPGA Member preferred Must be a dedicated golf instructor with minimum 1 years related experience in golf instruction and club-fitting techniques Must possess exceptional communication skills Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly Must be extremely organized, efficient and detail-oriented Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self-starter Knowledge of the local market is a plusResponsibilities:
Works closely with the General Manager to plan and develop instruction programs that appeal to all golfer segments in the surrounding market Provides golf instruction to private students and group participants as demand dictates and as needed Teaches summer camps as needed Provides training and development to other instructors as directed and as needed Assists in the Supervision and upkeep of the practice facilities to ensure that safe, clean, organized and professional conditions exist throughout Assists in keeping all teaching aids and instruction inventory in excellent condition Utilize state-of-the-art teaching and learning theories, and be able to integrate the use of training aids, video tape and club fitting into the facility's instructional programs when necessary Participate in administrative duties as directed and as needed to ensure smooth operation of the golf instruction program Perform some of the opening and closing duties of the instruction program as directed Represent the facility in the community and with local businesses through promotional activities and programs Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
