Job Description

Position Summary This position will remain open until filled. Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. The Learn to Skate School Instructor is responsible to teach pre-beginner to advance lessons using ISI guidelines. This part-time position will assist in the testing and advancement of Learn to Skate participants. Classes are held year-round on Monday evenings from approximately 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Essential Duties Instruct lesson according to the guidelines of the Learn to Skate School Provide assistance to patrons. Provide direction in the event of an emergency. Provide verbal and written reports to Learn to Skate School Director and Recreation Supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge and experience instructing different skill levels of figure skating and hockey. Good skating techniques, teaching and communication skills. Experience working with children. Must be available to work Monday evenings on a regular basis. Must be at least 16 years of age.
