Summer Camp Aide

Job Summary Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is seeking an energetic, responsible, and caring Part‑Time Summer Camp Aide to support our summer programming for children in a warm, faith‑centered environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with kids, communicates well with peers and supervisors, and contributes to a safe, fun, and engaging camp experience.
Key Responsibilities Assist lead counselors with daily camp activities, including arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, enrichment projects, and themed events.
Supervise campers to ensure safety, positive behavior, and respectful interactions.
Help set up, clean up, and organize program materials and activity spaces.
Accompany groups during transitions, field trips, and outdoor activities.
Support a welcoming, inclusive environment aligned with the school's Catholic values.
Communicate any concerns regarding campers to the lead counselor or program director.
Model kindness, cooperation, and responsibility throughout the camp day. Qualifications Genuine enthusiasm for working with children in grades K-8.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions from camp leadership.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to maintain a safe and structured environment.
Prior experience with children (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, volunteering, etc.) preferred but not required.
Must complete required background checks and Safe Environment Training. Schedule & Compensation Part‑time hours, typically between 15-25 hours per week, depending on enrollment and programming needs.
Camp runs weekdays during the summer months; specific scheduling will be coordinated with the program director.
