The Greater Ridgewood Youth Council, inc Elmhurst, NY Job Details Part-time $17 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Childcare Teamwork Student mentoring High school diploma or GED Working with youth Full Job Description Must Be Available June 29 - August 14, 2026. Monday to Friday 8:00 Am to 6:00 pm. Must be 18+ and hold a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Position Overview:
The Group Leader plays a vital role in guiding, mentoring, and supervising participants in daily after-school & summer activities. This position is ideal for energetic, caring individuals who enjoy working with children and are passionate about helping them reach their full potential. Group Leaders serve as positive role models, ensuring that all participants feel included, valued, and encouraged to learn and grow.
Position Overview:
The Instructor plays a key role in creating a positive and inclusive environment for participants. Instructors lead academic, enrichment, and recreational activities that spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage teamwork. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about youth development, enjoy hands-on learning, and want to make a meaningful impact in their community.
