Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels, from beginner to advanced players Conduct engaging classroom or online instruction sessions that promote active participation and learning Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful and focused environment for all students Create instructional materials such as worksheets, puzzles, and visual aids to enhance learning experiences Provide personalized tutoring and coaching to help students improve their game strategies and understanding of chess principles Assess student progress regularly and offer constructive feedback to motivate continued improvement Facilitate youth programs or adult education classes that foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and strategic thinking Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain an organized and disciplined learning environment Experience developing instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles and levels Proven tutoring or coaching experience in chess or related strategic games Ability to deliver engaging online instruction using digital platforms effectively Experience working with children, youth programs, or adult learners in educational settings Knowledge of adult education teaching methods and experience working with adult learners in a classroom or workshop setting Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex concepts and motivate students of all ages Familiarity with teaching foreign languages or integrating multilingual approaches into instruction is a plus Childcare or youth program teaching experience is desirable for working with younger students Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, track progress, and manage multiple classes efficiently Join us in creating an inspiring environment where learners can unlock their potential through the timeless game of chess!
