2:00 PM to 3:00 PM About Us Evolute Academia of New York is a martial arts and educational academy focused on developing students through discipline, confidence, fitness, and practical martial arts training. We are seeking a passionate and experienced MMA Coach to help grow our Mixed Martial Arts program and develop students of all skill levels. Responsibilities Lead MMA classes in a safe, structured, and engaging environment Teach striking fundamentals including boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, karate based striking, footwork, movement, and defensive techniques Introduce and develop MMA specific skills, drills, conditioning, and controlled sparring exercises Adapt instruction to accommodate beginners, intermediate students, and competitive athletes Promote discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth among students Monitor student progress and provide individualized coaching and feedback Ensure student safety and proper use of equipment during all training sessions Assist with program development, demonstrations, competitions, and special events as needed Qualifications Strong striking background required, including experience in Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Karate, or other striking based martial arts Experience competing, coaching, or training in Mixed Martial Arts preferred Prior coaching or teaching experience preferred Ability to teach students of various ages and experience levels Strong communication, leadership, and class management skills Reliable, professional, and punctual CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required Preferred Experience Amateur or professional MMA competition experience Coaching experience in MMA, Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, or Karate Experience cornering fighters for competitions Background in Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo, or other grappling arts is a plus Compensation $30 to $40 per hour based on experience, qualifications, coaching background, and competitive achievements.
