Join Classover and inspire students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences! We are looking for passionate and reliable part-time on-site teachers to teach Robotics/Coding and/or Chess to children at our Classover Tangram location in Flushing, NY.

We are currently hiring for:

Robotics / Coding Teacher Chess Teacher This is an in-person teaching position. Candidates may apply for one or both subjects depending on their experience. Who Thrives With Us?

We welcome educators who:

Enjoy working with children and can make lessons engaging and age-appropriate. Have previous teaching, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring experience. Are patient, responsible, reliable, and comfortable managing small groups of students. Can communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, and staff. Are able to consistently commute to our Flushing, Queens location. Hold a bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Technology, or a related field. (Preferred) Robotics / Coding Teacher Candidates should have: Experience with Robotics, Coding, STEM, Computer Science, or Engineering. Hands-on experience with Python and Scratch. Experience with LEGO Robotics / LEGO Education is highly preferred. Familiarity with TinkerCAD, CodeHS, Arduino, FLL, or similar robotics platforms is a plus. Ability to guide students through hands-on projects, coding exercises, and robotics activities.

Chess Teacher Candidates should have:

Strong knowledge of Chess fundamentals, strategies, openings, and game analysis. Experience teaching or coaching Chess to children is preferred. Ability to explain Chess concepts clearly to students at different skill levels. Ability to create engaging and structured Chess lesson plans and teaching materials. Experience preparing students for Chess competitions or tournaments is a plus. What We Provide An in-person classroom environment at our Tangram location.
