Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chess and Board Games Teacher to inspire and nurture young students in a dynamic educational environment. In this role, you will deliver engaging classes that promote social-emotional development, good sportsmanship, healthy competition, and critical thinking skills. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape well-rounded students who are eager to explore, learn, and grow. The ideal candidate is energetic, communicative, and committed to fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Schedule June 29 - August 14, 2026 Mon - Fri, 9-5pm Duties Lead and teach students to enjoy and thrive across a library of board games. Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and engage students through interactive activities and digital resources. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful learning space. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and upcoming events. Skills Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children across diverse backgrounds. Expertise in early childhood education principles Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues in a collaborative educational environment.
Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
