Description:
Welcome to Windham Mountain Club!
Work Location:
In-person role based in Windham, NY.
Pay:
18 to 19 per hour based on experience
Seasonal Position:
This role is available for the winter season. Full Time and Part Time Positions available! Start dates are weather dependent. Perks (Perks may change at any time.) Scheduling Expectations:
Peak times include weekends, early mornings, and holidays. Weekend availability is required.
Conditions:
Must be able to get to a from work in all weather conditions. This is an indoor position.
Overview of Position:
As a Support Staff team member, you'll help create a positive experience for guests while supporting Ski & Ride School operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with program check-in and check-out Support instructors and provide encouragement to young participants Maintain indoor and outdoor learning areas Assist with rental equipment processes Monitor and assist children throughout the day Help with lunch, snack, and beverage service (no cooking required) Keep facilities clean, safe, and organized
Qualifications:
At least 14 years old Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability required Comfortable working with children ages 3-12 Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, positive, and eager to learn
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions for up to 6 hours per day Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull as needed Must be able to travel to and from work in all weather conditions
