Passion for working with children and interactive learning Creative, positive, and energetic personality to lead a classroom Strong communication skills Reliable, flexible, and able to work in dynamic environments Comfortable traveling locally Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (Certification will be arranged by our team) Commitment to creating inclusive, diverse STEAM experiences Preferred Experience (Nice to Have): Teaching, coaching, or leading groups of children (teacher, camp counselor, etc) Experience with crafts, building, or circuits Familiarity with basic tools, simple software programming, or creative construction This is a Part-Time role with hours ranging from 10-20 hours per week. The number of hours per week varies. While we will try to accommodate your preferences and existing commitments, w eekdays, weekends and holidays will all make up parts of the schedule Location Classes take place at elementary schools, afterschool organizations, and community centers across Westchester — mainly Pelham, Yonkers, Irvington, and Tarrytown. Work location may vary depending on the schedule.Pay:
