Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Equestrian Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the equine sport, with a focus on developing riders of all skill levels. This role involves training individuals in riding techniques, horse care, and safety practices while fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants. Responsibilities Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of individual riders. Prepare lesson based on client Goals Instruct students on proper riding techniques, horse handling, and grooming. Monitor and assess rider progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance skills. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing safety protocols and guidelines. Help care for school horses and instill the importance of horse care before and after lesson. Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe training environment. Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, respect for horses, and personal growth. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and Barn owner regarding progress and any concerns. Requirements Proven experience as a equestrian rider or trainer , preferable hunter jumper.. Knowledge of horse care, behavior management, and riding techniques. Certification in lifeguarding or martial arts is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Ability to manage groups effectively while ensuring individual attention as needed. Physical fitness to demonstrate riding techniques and participate in activities as required. A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children and young adults.
