Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet by name all arriving guests in a pleasant manner. Keep order, ensure prompt tee off, and maintain flow of golfers on the course. Communicate with Golf Shop to ensure all golfers have checked in. Always remain at starter station and project a positive attitude. Make sure tee towels are hanging on all ball washers. Install flags to indicate first and last groups. Fill water coolers on the course and cup dispensers and maintain throughout the day. Works with golf staff to assist with tournaments and golf outings. Place rakes near sand traps, making sure ever trap has at least one rake. Make sure all equipment on the course, as well as benches, signs, and ball washers are in good working condition. Rove the course throughout your shift and be available to as many golfers as possible. Report and record all complaints to the Golf Shop Staff. Responsible for monitoring pace of play and updating the golf shop regularly. Tactfully Informs golfers when they are out of position or behind in pace.
Safety Responsibilities and Requirements:
Actively demonstrate, encourage, and model safety guidelines in accordance with the law. Report safety or hazard concerns to management. Report any work-related injury to management. Take personal responsibility for safety every day. Qualification-Requirements Experience - Education Previous experience working at a golf club preferred. Knowledge of golf protocol preferred. Good organizational skills Good verbal skills. Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
