Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in martial arts, particularly in taekwondo, and possess the ability to educate and inspire students of all ages. This role involves teaching martial arts techniques, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment within our martial arts school setting. Duties Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate martial arts lessons. Demonstrate proper techniques, forms, and self-defense skills. Ensure the safety of all students during classes and activities. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Assist with belt testing preparation and ceremonies. Maintain a clean and organized training environment. Represent the values of respect, discipline, and integrity in all interactions. Help with events such as demonstrations, tournaments, or open houses. Collaborate with staff to create a supportive learning community. Encourage and inspire students to achieve their personal goals. Salary Competitive salary based on teaching experience and belt rank. Qualifications Minimum starting rank:
1st Degree Black Belt. Strong foundational knowledge of martial arts techniques, forms, and self-defense principles. Prior experience teaching martial arts classes (preferred but not a necessity) Experience working with students of various ages and skill levels is essential. Patience and the ability to connect with students of different skill levels. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. Background check clearance(required) Flexibility to teach during class schedules, including evenings and saturdays. Ability to engage in physical activities that support the teaching of martial arts techniques. Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
