Overview Join our vibrant summer camp team as a Summer Camp Instructor and ignite the spirit of adventure, learning, and growth in children and youth! In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging activities, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and inspire young minds through creative programming. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while developing your leadership, teaching, and childcare skills. Whether you're passionate about sports, arts, drama, or education, your energy and dedication will help create unforgettable summer experiences for children of 5-12 years old. Duties Lead and facilitate a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and educational games to ensure an engaging experience for all participants Maintain a safe environment by enforcing camp rules, supervising children closely, and implementing first aid protocols when necessary Manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions through effective behavior management strategies Skills Proven experience working with children in educational, childcare, or camp settings; prior camp experience is highly valued Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline while fostering a fun learning environment Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-appropriate activities and interactions Experience in teaching or tutoring young children across various subjects or activities is a plus Join us this summer to create joyful memories while developing your skills in leadership, education, and childcare!
