Lone Star Ranch is seeking an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Wrangler / Trail Guide to join our team. Our wranglers are much more than trail guides—they are ambassadors of the ranch experience. You'll safely guide horseback trail rides, interact with guests of all experience levels, assist with ranch activities, and help create exceptional memories for every visitor. If you enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for horses, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we'd love to meet you. Position Summary The Wrangler is responsible for safely leading horseback trail rides, ensuring the health and care of ranch horses, providing outstanding guest service, and supporting ranch operations. This position requires excellent horsemanship, confidence working with people, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. Primary Responsibilities Lead horseback trail rides for guests of all riding experience levels. Provide safety briefings and horse handling instruction before each ride. Ensure guests have a fun, safe, and memorable ranch experience. Match horses appropriately with riders based on skill and comfort level. Groom, tack, saddle, and properly care for horses before and after rides. Monitor horse health and immediately report any concerns. Maintain clean, organized barns, tack rooms, arenas, and riding areas. Assist with feeding, watering, and general daily horse care. Support additional ranch activities such as: Archery Trap Shooting Roping ATV Adventures Buckaroo Programs Corporate Events Birthday Parties Assist with event setup, guest hospitality, and general ranch operations. Promote a positive, professional, and safety-focused environment. Represent Lone Star Ranch with professionalism and enthusiasm. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of horseback riding experience . Minimum 5 years of horse handling and care experience .
