Lead Riding Instructor & Barn Operations Manager Trinity River Farm and Equestrian Center Fort Worth, TX Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Professional development assistance Qualifications Some college Program management High school diploma or GED Teaching Camp Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Riding Instructor to lead our lesson program while assisting with the management and daily operations of our busy equestrian facility. This is a leadership position for someone who is passionate about teaching, developing riders, mentoring staff, and helping oversee a growing lesson and event program. Candidates with both English and Western experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities- Teach riding lessons for children and adults, from beginner through advanced levels Serve as Lead Instructor for Summer Camps, including lesson planning, horse assignments camper supervision, and coordination with camp staff Lead development of the lesson program Evaluate riders and horses to create successful lesson pairings Assist with clinics, special events, and educational programs Oversee daily barn operations, facility readiness, staff coordination, and operational standards Coordinate scheduling, horse assignments, and program logistics Maintain operational systems, scheduling, reporting, inventory, and communication processes to support efficient facility management Communicate professionally with clients, staff, volunteers, contractors, and ownership Assist with horse health management, veterinary and farrier scheduling, and inventory tracking Help ensure a safe, organized, and positive environment for riders, horses, and staff Experience & Qualifications Two or more years teaching English and/or Western riding and teaching experience Strong horsemanship and horse management skills Experience teaching riders of varying ages and skill levels Experience leading or coordinating youth programs, camps, or group activities Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities Ability to work independently and take initiative Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Experience using scheduling software, email, spreadsheets, and social media communication tools High school diploma and two years of college preferred
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
