Job Description

Are you a passionate gymnastics coach who loves the energy of a busy gym but also has a knack for organization and leadership? Do you thrive in a role where no two days are the same? If you're ready to step up, lead from the floor, and help us run the smoothest, most exciting gymnastics program in town, we want to meet you! Top Kids Gym & Sports is seeking a dynamic, high-energy Floater / Floor Manager to join our coaching family. About the Role This is not just a standard coaching job; it is a vital hybrid leadership position . You are the "glue" that keeps our afternoon and evening sessions running perfectly. You will split your time between running your own dedicated class, stepping in as an expert substitute, and managing the overall flow of the gym floor. Your responsibilities may also span other areas such as assisting with Afterschool Care or helping at the "front of the house". We need someone proactive who can spot a problem before it happens—whether it's a bottleneck at check-in, a class that needs an extra hand, or a station that needs setting up. Key Responsibilities 1.

Equipment Mastery:
Assist coaches with the safe and efficient setup and teardown of stations between rotations or class levels.
Flow Coordinator:
Monitor class transitions to ensure they happen safely, quickly, and smoothly. 2. Coaching & Instruction (The "Expert" Role):

Act as the primary, high-quality substitute coach for other staff members during planned or unplanned absences, maintaining class consistency and skill progression. What We Are Looking For (Requirements) Coaching Experience (Required): You must have proven experience coaching children in a structured environment. Gymnastics Specifics (Highly Preferred): Prior experience specifically coaching recreational gymnastics (Preschool through Level 3) is a major plus.
Leadership Mindset:
You are a proactive problem-solver who takes initiative without being asked.
High Energy & Adaptability:
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can shift from "manager mode" to "fun coach mode" instantly.
Communication Skills:
You can communicate clearly and professionally with fellow coaches, parents, and athletes. Why You'll Love Working Here A supportive, team-oriented work family. Opportunities for professional development and leadership growth. Competitive pay based on experience. Flexible schedule and discounts for immediate family parties and camp
