Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated instructor to lead Tai Chi classes. This role offers an enrichment opportunity to promote physical wellness, mindfulness, and holistic health through engaging Tai Chi sessions tailored for diverse age groups and skill levels. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Tai Chi or Qi Gong techniques, and a passion for teaching others. You will foster a positive environment that encourages Christian personal growth, balance, and resilience while working closely with to deliver dynamic, impactful classes. Duties Lead structured Tai Chi classes, demonstrating techniques, providing guidance to participants through movements that enhance flexibility, strength, and mental clarity Collaborate with to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate elements of martial arts, physical education, and mindfulness practices Adapt instruction to accommodate participants of varying ages, abilities, and experience levels, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment Incorporate related skills such as Aikido, Karate, Judo, or other martial arts to enrich class content and promote diverse physical activities Manage behavior and maintain discipline during sessions to ensure a focused and respectful atmosphere Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the training area, including equipment checks and proper hygiene practices Qualifications Prior experience in physical fitness roles or sports coaching is highly desirable Strong background in teaching physical education or public speaking is desirable Demonstrated ability to work effectively with elderly population and students of all ages in a healthy zen setting Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners Familiarity with strategies to foster positive learning environments Certifications in martial arts (e.g., Karate or Judo), or related disciplines are advantageous but not mandatory Passion for promoting health, wellness, and holistic fitness through engaging instruction Join us to empower individuals through the art of Tai Chi while leveraging your expertise in sports coaching, martial arts, or physical education.
