In this role, you will foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and sportsmanship while creating a fun and supportive learning environment. Whether working with children or adults, you will deliver engaging lessons that build confidence and mastery in chess fundamentals and advanced strategies. Duties Design and deliver engaging chess lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, curiosity, and respectful competition Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring all students stay focused and engaged throughout each session Provide personalized tutoring to help students improve their game, analyze positions, and develop strategic thinking Organize and oversee chess competitions or tournaments to promote practical application of skills and teamwork Communicate progress clearly to students and parents or guardians, highlighting achievements and areas for growth Maintain organized lesson plans, student records, and instructional materials to support ongoing learning Qualifications Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a classroom or group setting Strong knowledge of chess rules, strategies, and tactics suitable for diverse age groups Excellent classroom management skills to foster an inclusive and disciplined environment Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively to learners of different ages Experience working with children or adults in educational settings or childcare environments is highly desirable Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students Prior classroom experience or familiarity with educational best practices is preferred Join us in shaping confident thinkers through the timeless game of chess!
