Full-Time Gymnastics Instructor About Ready Set Gymnastics Founded in 2020, Ready Set Gymnastics provides high-quality gymnastics instruction throughout Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Our programs include recreational gymnastics classes, camps, birthday parties, private lessons, and school enrichment programs. Position Overview Ready Set Gymnastics is seeking one (1) full-time Gymnastics Instructor to join our team beginning August-September 2026. The selected candidate must be available to commit through at least June 2027. This position requires regular travel throughout Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC area. Key Responsibilities Develop lesson plans and independently teach a variety of gymnastics classes, including parent-and-child classes, preschool gymnastics, recreational gymnastics (beginner through advanced levels), and adult gymnastics classes Coordinate and lead special programs and events, including camps, birthday parties, community events, and partner programs Transport, set up, and break down equipment at various teaching locations Assist with administrative tasks and operational support as needed Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Must be at least 21 years old. Minimum of two (2) years of experience teaching preschool and recreational gymnastics (please include this experience on your resume). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Northern Virginia and the Washington, DC area. Ability to store and transport gymnastics equipment in a personal vehicle when required. Must be physically capable of spotting and assisting athletes, lifting children, and moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Must possess or be willing to obtain USA Gymnastics (USAG) Recreational Instructor Membership, USAG Green Light Background Check, and applicable state background checks Ability to provide professional references who can speak to your coaching experience, reliability, professionalism, and work ethic. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Self-motivated and comfortable teaching independently. Committed to punctuality, professionalism, and creating exceptional experiences for athletes and families. Reliability and punctuality are essential to success in this role.
