Job Description

Description Boar's Head Resort is now accepting applications for seasonal Swim Instructors to join our Sports Club team! As a Swim Instructor, you will be working closely with the Aquatics Manager to determine lesson schedules, emergency procedures, lesson procedures/protocols, paperwork, certificates, and registration. Meet with Aquatics Manager and Swim Lesson Coordinator to review all policies and procedures. Attend weekly meetings to discuss suggestions, techniques and address customer comments. Provide excellent customer service in a professional manner according to 4 Diamond Service Expectations. Maintain a well organized program tracking attendance system, registration and instructor hours/commissions. Pick-up Lifeguard shifts if qualified and interested. Act as a substitute for other Instructors when needed. Teach Private and Group Swimming Lessons while following BHSC protocols, procedures and policies.
Requirements Essential:
Prior experience in swim lesson instruction. Good organizational, communication and leadership skills. Familiarity with swim lesson programs and coordinating registration/attendance, skill sheets and recording instructor hours.
Desirable:
Strong swimming abilities. Prior guest service experience. Water safety certification. Lifeguard certification.
