Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Taekwondo Instructor to inspire and guide students of all ages in mastering martial arts techniques, building confidence, and promoting physical fitness. As a key member of our team, you will deliver engaging, structured classes that emphasize discipline, respect, and personal growth. Responsibilities Lead engaging Taekwondo classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring safety and proper technique. Develop customized training plans that promote skill progression, discipline, and confidence among students. Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement and motivation. Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols, including AED operation and first aid procedures when necessary. Communicate effectively with students and parents about progress, upcoming events, and class schedules. Manage behavior and foster a respectful atmosphere through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies. Organize competitions, demonstrations, or belt testing events to showcase student achievements and encourage continued engagement. Experience Prior experience in martial arts instruction, particularly in World Taekwondo Kukkiwon Style, is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with children and young learners in a coaching or teaching capacity. Background in sports coaching such as soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or Judo is advantageous. Knowledge of sports-specific training techniques and physical education instruction is desirable. Experience with team leadership, behavior management, and client communication enhances effectiveness as an instructor. Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or child safety are highly valued. Previous work in health clubs or gyms involving sports coaching or physical training provides additional insight into fitness-based instruction.
