Job Description:
The Department of Social Work at McDaniel seeks an adjunct professor to teach a course in its Human Behavior and the Social Environment sequence (SWK2214
HBSE:
Infancy through Adolescence) in the Fall of 2026.
Responsibilities:
Meeting all designated class periods. Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours. Designing and delivering classes and assignments that work toward achieving the outcomes established for the course. Conveying course information and communicating with students through the College's online course management system (Blackboard). Grading student assignments and providing feedback in a timely manner. Submitting mid-term and final grades according to college regulations. Building a positive rapport with students and faculty.
Requirements:
Required Qualification:
Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in human behavior and social environment theory, including lifespan development, social systems, and ecological perspectives. Experience teaching at the college level
