Job Description
Teaches Introduction to Women's Studies. Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. Assist in planning and promoting Women's History Month programming in the month of March.

Typically, Monday through Friday. Teaching assignments may be made at YSU's main location in Youngstown, Ohio, the Steubenville, Ohio location, or online for remote courses.Primary Location:

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Minimum Qualifications:
An earned master's degree in women's and/or gender studies or graduate-level coursework in related field(s) such as sociology, history, social work, psychology, etc.; able to teach standard general education courses (examples but not limited to: Introduction to Women's Studies). Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience, especially online. Residency in Ohio, PA, and West Viriginia for online and face-to-face instruction.Physical Requirements:
In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this position will perform sedentary work.Sedentary:
work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
